1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using Basin ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Local-First Data

Basin is a local-first application. Your financial data is stored on your device. We do not maintain a central database of your transactions. You are responsible for backing up your device. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure or app deletion.

3. Premium Subscriptions

Basin may offer optional premium features in the future. If and when those are available:

  • Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
  • The specific feature set covered by any premium tier will be described in-app at the time of purchase.

4. Beta & TestFlight Builds

If you are using Basin through TestFlight or a similar beta program, the App may change frequently, contain bugs, or lose data. Please back up your data regularly and expect rough edges.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not financial advisors; the App is a tool for tracking, not professional financial advice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Basin and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
